In addition to serving award winning Tuscan cuisine Siena Ristorante is also the recipient of three Wine Spectator Awards for an outstanding wine list.
When people think of Italian wines they almost always think of Chianti first. For centuries Tuscany has produced the most outstanding Chianti, Brunello and Vin Nobile.
These amazing full bodied red wines are all made from the Sangiovese grape and its clones. But Tuscany is also known for the incredible white wine Vernaccia, grown around the
medieval towns of San Gimignano, Siena and Colle d’Val Elsa. Vernaccia is a perfect accompaniment for traditional dishes such as braised rabbit, Guinea Fowl with grape leaves and
whole roasted Sea Bass. At Siena our wine list is crafted to accompany our menu of authentic Tuscan cuisine. In addition to a wide range of Tuscan wines we also offer a
broad selection of other well known Italian wines such as Barolo, Barbera and Barbaresco from the Piedmont region, Amarones and Ripassos from Veneto and the incredible
blended wines known as “Super Tuscans”. On our list you will find Sassicaia, Ornellaia and Tignanello to name a few. But no great wine list would be complete if it didn’t
include the best of California, Australia and France. Also on our list you will find a great selection of Champagnes, Prosecco, Ports, Vin Santo and other popular after dinner cordials.
